Low military accommodation buildings beside a gravel road and birch trees under grey skies.

The Conference of Defence Association was registered in Ottawa by Abbey Martynes, Dev Singh, Lars Andersen and Tony Battista, all consultants with Sandstone Group. The filing sits in federal lobbying activity recorded from October 10 to October 16, 2026.

The registration is to advocate for support for members of the Canadian armed forces, specifically in Latvia, to encourage parliamentarians to visit local army units, and to encourage youth to engage in cadet programs.

Since October 10, the Conference of Defence Association was among the most registered organizations, with 4 unique registrations made on its behalf, the same number as Prinoth and The Women’s Enterprise Organizations of Canada. Sandstone Group Inc. had 9 unique registrations in that period, behind Compass Rose Group with 10.
