Zenith Interiors has introduced Profondo, a seating collection comprising a sofa and a standalone armchair. The Australian workplace brand developed the range around expressive, sculptural forms rather than a restrained or purely utilitarian workplace aesthetic.

The collection takes its reference from Italian furniture of the 1970s, an era associated with generous proportions and an assertive visual identity. Profondo translates that influence into substantial upholstered seating designed to make a strong presence within an interior.

Both pieces share the collection's emphasis on volume and silhouette. The sofa provides the larger communal seating format, while the armchair offers an individual counterpart with the same design language.

For architects and interior professionals, the release illustrates the continued relevance of 1970s Italian design cues in contemporary commercial and residential settings. The collection was featured by Dezeen's Showroom.
