Vesta has raised $30 million in Series B funding to expand its AI-native loan origination system, a platform designed for mortgage lenders managing loan workflows.
According to a report by HousingWire, Pennymac is among the lender investors using the platform. The lender reported a 25% reduction in origination costs after moving to Vesta.
Pennymac also recorded a 50% improvement in loan-origination efficiency, according to the report. Those figures underline lenders' interest in systems that can streamline processing and reduce the operational burden of mortgage production.
For Latvia's property sector, the financing is a signal of continued investment in mortgage technology rather than evidence of local deployment. Lenders, brokers and buyers should distinguish between reported operating results at a US lender and the separate regulatory, product and market conditions governing housing finance in Latvia.
